THE Einstein A Go-Go 40th reunion you’ve been longing for is happening Oct. 10 and 11 at The Albatross and Oct. 12 at Myth Club in downtown Jacksonville.
We have two nights of fun and festivities starting on Friday with a throwback Dance Night featuring DJ Ricky Hattaway spinning your favorite alternative, indie, grunge, gothic, New Wave, industrial and more classics.
Saturday's Reunion Concert features an incredible bill of RickoLus, Bell, Book & Candle, The Cadets, Applied Communications and Emperor X. We're expecting several special guests who played the club between 1985 and 1997 to join in throughout the night to play some of their favorite songs from the Einstein's era. And of course, Tammie has a few surprises in store for us.

Parking, Safety, and Transportation
Q: Where is the best place to park for both nights?
There is street parking and public garages in the immediate vicinity.
- Street Parking: This is your closest option, but spaces fill up fast. Downtown street meters are free on the weekend starting after 6 p.m. on Friday, but check the signs carefully.
- Public Garages/Lots: For the concert on Saturday, Oct. 11, consider a secured, nearby parking garage. It provides peace of mind and is typically easier than cruising for street spots.
- Closest: JAX Annex Garage, 0.04 mi away at 21 E. Bay St.
- Next closest: JAX Center Garage, 0.14 mi away at 1 W. Bay St.
- Safety: Since both events run late, always be aware of your surroundings. We highly recommend using a ride-share service (Uber/Lyft) for door-to-door convenience, especially if you plan on enjoying the full bar service.
- Skinheads: No worries. Tammie has full-control over the situation.
