EAGG Press was formed in 2024 to publish Occupancy 250: Fans, Bands and Fried Chicken, a 272-page book that celebrates the legendary all-ages live music and dance club in Jacksonville Beach, Florida. The book will be available in August 2024.
Who We Are
With the support of our beloved Tammie Faircloth, EAGG Press is managed by former clubgoers Jennifer Curry Compton, Allison Durham, Jon Glass and Dee Marling Edenfield.
Allison Durham: Since her Einstein’s days, Allison has traveled the country as a circus clown, got a degree in photojournalism from UF, and worked as a reporter. She lives in a hundred-year-old house with an orange cat in Georgia. She enjoys writing, traveling and working on cosplay costumes.
Jon Glass: Having segued professionally from Florida’s newspaper industry to academia, Jon teaches digital journalism at Syracuse University’s S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications. Still very much an avid music fan, Jon catches as many concerts as he can especially for any up-and-coming acts that roll through upstate New York. He’s all ears for any musical recommendations you have.
Dee Marling Edenfield: After Einstein’s, Dee (a.k.a. in EAGG scene as D2
or D-Square) has rocked a career in the business world and and enjoys keeping the club’s spirit alive through co-organizing the reunions, EAGG Facebook group
and scheming fresh ways to unite the Einstein’s crew. Dee calls Jacksonville home along with her husband, kids and a couple of cool cats.
Jennifer Curry Compton: Jennifer has enjoyed a career as a graphic designer working primarily on magazines and books. She lives in Jacksonville with her cats in a historic home filled with brightly-colored vintage décor. Her record album, cassette tape and CD collections are still intact.
